Bluetree Group, a provider of asset management and technical advisory services for renewable energy assets, is strengthening its BESS asset management capabilities through a collaboration with Cellect.

Building on its extensive experience managing renewable energy assets, Bluetree is strengthening its capabilities for the specific operational requirements of battery storage. Cellect will provide the operating layer supporting Bluetree’s teams as they manage battery assets on behalf of their clients, bringing together data infrastructure, operational intelligence and workflows in one platform.

The collaboration is also an important step for Cellect in its home market, as Spain emerges as a major growth market for battery storage in Europe.

Bluetree already uses dedicated digital tools to support its renewable asset management activities. Battery storage, however, introduces a distinct set of operational requirements that call for a more specializedz approach.
