Dispatch B.V., a developer and operator of large-scale battery energy storage systems, has chosen Cellect as its provider of asset management solutions to support the operation of Project Amethyst, a 45 MW system with 90 MWh usable capacity (107 MWh installed) battery project in the Netherlands.
Located in Dordrecht, South Holland, Project Amethyst will be one of the country’s largest standalone battery energy storage systems. The battery will improve grid stability and support the efficient use of renewable energy once it becomes operational in 2026.
As the first project within Dispatch’s multi-GWh development pipeline, Amethyst sets the operational foundation on which the company will scale its storage portfolio. The system will be onboarded into Cellect’s portfolio-level asset management platform, establishing a unified, data-driven framework designed to support the increasing complexity of Dispatch’s growing battery fleet.
Dispatch chose Cellect for its ability to integrate commercial and operational data in one platform and to support the core functions of battery asset management, from performance monitoring to revenue tracking and warranty compliance.
"Project Amethyst marks an important milestone for Dispatch," said Hans Vink, CTO of Dispatch B.V. "Cellect's expertise in integrating commercial and technical data provides the foundation we need to manage a growing fleet of large-scale storage assets."
Using Cellect’s platform, Dispatch will gain a unified view of asset performance and key cross-functional KPIs in real time. The system transforms raw operational data into clear, actionable insight, enabling smarter decisions, safer operations, and stronger financial results.
"Our mission at Cellect is to make operating large-scale storage more reliable and profitable," said Leon Gosh, Managing Director at Cellect. "Dispatch is developing some truly impressive large-scale battery systems, and we're excited to be part of that journey."
This partnership combines the expertise of both teams to make battery systems more reliable, profitable, and effective in supporting the Netherlands' energy transition. For Dispatch and Cellect, Amethyst reflects a shared commitment to building storage assets that operate reliably every day and foster a sustainable energy future.
