Improve operational visibility across BESS assets – June 2026 product updates
July 6, 20265 minutes read
The focus this month

As BESS portfolios grow, operators rely on more connected systems, more operational data, and more complex workflows to keep assets running reliably.

Responding quickly to operational events depends on having the right information at the right time. At the same time, teams need relevant notifications that support prioritization without creating unnecessary noise, while integrating battery assets with existing industrial infrastructure becomes increasingly important.

This month's updates improve how operators investigate operational events, receive notifications, and connect with industrial systems through standardized communication.

Investigate issues without switching workflows

What changed

Operational events are now connected directly to the relevant telemetry, with the investigation context carried across workflows.

What this enables

Operators can now:

  • open relevant telemetry directly from an event

  • continue investigations with the affected component and timeframe already selected

  • investigate operational issues without switching between workflows

This helps operators move from event detection to analysis more quickly while keeping the relevant operational context in one place.

Receive more relevant operational notifications

What changed

Notification preferences can now be configured independently for each site, while repeated notifications for the same event are automatically suppressed for a short period.

What this enables

Operators can now:

  • receive notifications only for the sites they manage

  • reduce repeated alerts generated by the same event

  • focus on new operational issues instead of repeated notifications

This helps reduce unnecessary alert noise, making it easier to prioritize and respond to the events that matter most.

Enable OPC UA connectivity

What changed

OPC UA connectivity is now supported, enabling standardized communication between the Cellect platform and compatible industrial systems.

What this enables

Operators can now:

  • connect OPC UA-compatible industrial systems

  • simplify integrations with existing infrastructure

  • exchange operational data using a common industry standard

About OPC UA

OPC UA is a widely adopted communication standard used across industrial automation. By supporting OPC UA, Cellect can communicate with compatible industrial systems using a common industry standard, making integrations more consistent across different operational environments.

Operational impact at portfolio scale

Together, these updates help operators investigate operational events more efficiently, receive more relevant notifications, and simplify integration with industrial systems.

As BESS portfolios grow, this supports more consistent monitoring, faster investigations, and scalable operational workflows across connected assets.

Also this month

Cellect successfully completed its ISO 27001:2022 recertification, confirming that our Information Security Management System continues to meet internationally recognized standards for information security and risk management.

Maintaining this certification reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting customer data and delivering secure, reliable software for BESS operations.

Looking ahead

We will continue improving how operators monitor, investigate, and manage BESS assets, with a continued focus on operational visibility, standardized connectivity, and scalable workflows across growing portfolios.
